    In 1999, I started Westmere for one reason: my family.

    I opened a small menswear boutique in New York, not to get rich, but to build something real. Something my children could be proud of. Something that would last.

    When the store got quiet, I started making sunglasses. By hand. In my workshop. Not because it was easy, but because I believed a man deserves a pair that actually works, that blocks the glare, fits right, and holds up for years.

    Then COVID hit. The store went silent overnight. I taught myself to sell online, just to survive. For months, nobody came. In 2024 we almost lost everything I had built over twenty-five years.
